The Nutcracker

The Nutcracker’s first season at the News Journal Center’s Davidson Theater — an evening show and a Sunday matinée in November 2024.

Little does she know this is the start of a magical adventure she is never going to forget.

From the Stahlbaums’ Christmas party to the Kingdom of the Sweets, Ormond Ballet’s production follows young Clara, her Aunt Drosselmeyer, and the Nutcracker Prince through Tchaikovsky’s complete second act of wonders: Spanish Chocolates, Chinese Tea, Russian Trepak, Arabian Coffee, French Marzipan, the Baker and her Macarons, and the Flowers’ Waltz — crowned by the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier.
